BIRDS FROM THE HIMALAYAN REGION OF INDIA
The HImalayan region has a huge variation of altitude across its range. It could be as low as 60 mts to as high as 8800 mts. The birds of this region are some of the most colorful birds of the Indian subcontinent. At the same time, most of them are very small and prefer the dense foliage, thus difficult to spot and capture on camera. Depending on the season and the breeding time, these birds descend to low altitudes in winter and move up to higher altitudes again in summer.
